Hayley and Jill
Hi Caroline,
I just wanted to thank you for the most amazing day. It was clear for all to see that all the ladies you made over, including my mum, had a wonderful experience and honestly felt like stars for the day.
The efforts that you and your team go to doesn't just help those going through the chemo but also helps friends and family as well. They get to see their mums, wives, daughters looking beautiful and radiant and being part of an incredibly happy and positive day in what is often the most traumatic period of their lives.
I know that you put in sooo much time and effort into these days and they are certainly not stress free for you! I also know that your team of kind volunteers donate their time and expertise (and amazing wigs!) for free and in today's current climate its rare to see.
Please can you pass on our thanks to anybody who helped on the day, and just let them know that what they, and you, are doing is just so much appreciated.
I hope that volunteers will keep on helping you along the way and that you can provide many more amazing days for truly deserving women. You have certainly inspired me and I will do everything I can to raise peoples awareness of Caroline's Campaign and the work that you do.
Thank you so much!
Hayley
P.S Mum cannot wait to see the photos!
Gabby Mottershead
Hi Caroline, I just wanted to say thanks for making Gabby look and feel fantastic, what you did was amazing, everybody could not believe how fantastic she looks after everything she's been through, its like she's been given a happy injection! So would you please pass on my thanks to all the team that helped transform my beautiful wife into something even more gorgeous and giving her the hope and confidence that she will get back to normality sooner rather than later. Thanks again, Paul Mottershead. x

"The wigs you are offered at the time aren't that great," she said. "So this experience has been absolutely fantastic.
"It looks much more like my own hair and I feel normal again. I feel like somebody has actually treated me like a woman instead of a patient."
Sue Dawson
Sue was so impressed by her experience with Caroline’s Campaign that she now wants to support the work of Caroline Monk.
Make-overs are, she says, a way for women undergoing breast cancer treatment to have a life-affirming experience.
“Life does go on and it is very precious, as I’m finding out.
“Having breast cancer has given me inner strength and ways of coping with adversity. I’ve also discovered my weaknesses.
“But the make-over was fantastic. I can’t tell you how wonderful it felt and what a great day we had.’’
Lisa Barnes
Lisa Barnes, 35, from New Moston, Manchester, saw it as a chance to have some fun with her image again after undergoing chemotherapy, radiotherapy and a mastectomy.
She said: "I used to have really long dark hair but I thought I'd go for something blonde and funky. It really boosted my confidence, it's definitely something all women going through chemo should be offered."
Caroline Mitchell
"It don't really like being the centre of attention and when I lost my hair I felt quite self-conscious about going out to meetings so I tended to work from home.
"But this is one of the first days since I was diagnosed that I don't feel like someone who's ill and it's allowed me to forget about the aches and pains and when I need to take the next tablet."
Jenny Parryag
Today has been fantastic because they've taught me what to do with my new hair - I never knew it could look this good. They've also taught me a te chnique for how to fill in my eyebrows.
My cancer is now under control and speaking to people today has helped me get my confidence back.
I didn't know who it was in the mirror.
Isabel Graham

It's so nice to come here today. My hair looks amazing. I also love the make-up, they've taught me how to accentuate my eyes.
I'm now in remission. After everything I've been through it's nice to finally pamper myself.
I lost a lot of confidence after chemo.
